The concept of Violence has been spread around with great swiftness and simplicity. Above, is a short comment - by a dear friend who was joking only with me - that explicitely denotes how the Aggressive Language has unconsciously entered our dictionary.
It still astonishes me everyday how hostility have ventured every house .. every single corner in our houses and became a regular practice .. done on regular basis.
Whenever one tunes on the TV, he will never find anything cheerful.
Not only on TV. Real Life gives daily vivid examples.
Traffic jams manifest anger.
Schools explore complexes.
Students express vulgarity.
Neighbours develop aggression.
Friends, sometimes, shows signs of condemnor.
It is worldwide spread .. like a contagious virus ... Sending and emitting negative charges all over ..

.
I have one hope ... that other things would Prevail, too ..
So .. let us pause for a minute ..
Close our eyes .
Contemplate our souls ..
Check the dim lighted spot inside ..
Try to approach it with care ..
Enlarge it ..
Enlarge it more ..
Till its pixels fit our oculi ..
Then, at this solemn moment, let us dream of a Society filled with Agape and Passion!

I thought something very similar yesterday afternoon, when going to visit a friend, I saw a mother walking with a 5 year-old son, holding a plastic shotgun. When we let the children enter this vicious world of violence, we should expect them to be contaminated and become even more twisted if not helped.
I was always wondering why it's so common to get angry and to show aggression. But after looking around me, I think the cause is to be sought in the lack of love and understanding in the first place. When I didn't taste love, how can I love? If I didn't feel forgiven, how can I forgive? If I didn't bathe in serenity and understanding how can I be calm?
Another reason for the violence could be Fear. Sometimes fear make us untrysting, reactionary, defensive... And we think that we need to fight back.
Let's try to spread around us beauty and love. They can soothe the spirits, they can transform the world.
Let's go toword each others holding a flower, showing a smile.
Enough fear, enough hate, enough violence.
I have to say that you throbbed my heart with your reply.
Every word written comes from the bitter experience of having different encounters with others on several levels ..
But one has to assay to reach the aimed target, which could be summarized through the Taoism codes:
" Be and Let Be.
Live and Let Live."
